  1. Doesn’t anyone tell batsmen that you don’t avoid a bouncer by ducking (you don’t know how high it will bounce). The best technique is to get in line with the ball and then walk across. Sound simple? If you have been taught then it is.

  2. The “panel” is getting Peterson’s dismissal wrong. It wasn’t his just covering his leg stump: it was his failure to put his front foot to the off.

You have sufficient time to move you feet, no matter how fast the bowler bowls.

  3. And you pick up the line from the bowler’s arm movement and from where on the crease he goes. It is that simple.

Lack of knowledge, ability or courage.

  4. This little black duck ,

    de Villiers is classy!

And is also OUT! Maybe he felt like having an early shower! 😉

  5. There is zero vulnerable in the Oz attack. No other country can claim that for themselves.

  6. Yeah. The next test will be a beauty. Mitch has left mental scars as well as physical ones.

Their eyes will open wide with fear from now on when he takes the ball.

  7. The fielders won’t allow the extra run. Contrast SAF yesterday.

    Anyone think “a broken horse”?

  8. It’s almost as though Mitchell looks like taking a wicket with every ball now.

Talk about a bloody dangerous bowler!

  9. Just posted a caustic facebook comment when someone shared a VINE (vaccination information network) (yeah right) post about da perils of vacs, brought to you by Shiny Shonky, RMD (right mad dickhead) liked to some bible college homeopathetic eat ya organic wheatgrass bullcrap.

    B’tards.

  10. It is as if every batsman facing Mitch thinks he is about to be done over: by a short ball or one pitched up.

The batsman can pick up the line very early. The length is a bit more of a problem.

  11. Mark Nicholas is putting his finger on it: it is the psychology that Johnson imposed on the Poms and, now, is on the SAFs.

  12. Peterson has a problem with short stuff, even from Peter Siddle.

Next ball he bowled him, grace a low bounce. 8 for. Shows you how right Clarke was.

  13. They are calling a ball of 140 ks amazingly for the batsman. I think they are referring to the bounce. Or they should be.

  14. They are defensing runs in the field right now.

    What a crazy run out!

    Oz by 281.

    Early night is on!

SAFs need a good psychologist for the next on in 4 days time.

  15. The ABC’s twist

That’s it! South Africa’s feeble efforts come to an end with a silly run out.

SAF wasn’t “feeble”: they were just outplayed.

That “commentator” and many others obviously have no idea.

  16. Good morning everyone.

I agree with your comments regarding the cricket, Ducky. Mitch Johnson IS amazing but the other bowlers are doing a fantastic job as well, and this is something Mitch himself points out every time he’s interviewed. They are a complete unit which is why they’re doing so well. SAF will, no doubt, work on a strategy to counter the Australian attack so I don’t think they’ll be caught napping when they front for the next test having underestimated the ability of our batsmen to hold their own against the ‘superiority’ of SAF’s.

  17. Good morning Dawn Patrollers.

  19. I stopped being an altar boy once I saw the vague, innocent, promise of heaven in a young lady’s eyes in the back pews of Sunday church….I truly believe this was a vision granted…a calling from God to “Go forth , young man, and multiply.”……

  20. Mr. Obama is out, visiting the drought areas in the USA. It seems they are enduring the worst drought in 500 years.

Difference with Mr. Obama, is that he is blaming man made climate change.
