Interesting that. Melanie did really well on that one.
From my perspective, as someone who is not greatly enamoured of the latter two-thirds of 19th century “classical” music, Dvorak was really good. I love his Slavonic Dances; his Cello Concerto is right up there with the great ones, as are his later symphonies.
I feel good tonight. I convinced my parents that it should be the right thing to do to give our old family dog dental surgery.
They were told it’d cost over $800 since she’s 10 years old and would need oxygen and a lot of care, but if her teeth are so bad that the vet recommended it, it’d be worth it to get them fixed. Even if she doesn’t seem like she’s in pain, she’s probably hiding it and should be much better when the bad teeth are gone. And after that, she’s a hardy little dog so she should have at least 5 years to go.
Duckster, I so wanted to marry Linda back in the late 70’s early 80’s’. I have a canvas of the album cover of ‘Mad love’ hanging on the wall of my stairway.

A guy I used to work with lived next door or thereabouts to ONJ when she was in her early teens. She was a bit of a tomboy it seems, and used to beat the crap out of him occasionally. My opinion of him was that she didn’t do it frequently enough.
