  1. Firstly, congratulations to BrianMcisme and the OH, very well done.
Secondly best wishes to Mrs CK, I hope all goes well.
Thirdly, hopes and prayers are with BK, his daughter and grandchild. Babies seem so fragile sometimes, but we forget just how resilient they can be. I hope your grandchild does well,BK.
For me, any three numbers above 63 please.

  2. Puff, you magic dragon, Carolemcisme says that the flowers were very beautiful and she says “thank you”, as do I.

  3. On the previous thread there have been some comments on Kevin Donnelly, the lunatic ex teacher and, as my father used to describe people like him “Catholic as a profession”. My OH used to work as a bureaucrat in the Education department, and spent a couple of periods as a Departmental Liaison Officer (DLO) in the parliamentary offices of a couple of Ministers for Education. She knew Donnelly well, stating that all Parties treated him as a joke, although the Libs used to keep him on a sort of leash with vague promises of jobs in ministerial offices or even preselection. None of those promises cam to anything though, except for a short stint in Kevin Andrews office where he proved what everybody had always thought of him correct. He is one of those fanatics who has confused his fanaticism with intelligent insight, and can never understand why nobody else can see what he sees. In short, he is a bit of a joke, but a tenacious joke.

  4. A few regulars haven’t shown up yet if someone can tap them on the shoulder and let them know we’re ba-a-ck.

  5. kambah mick

A look at his education “Institute” made me think “old man shouting at clouds” .. Apparently goddam hippies are to blame and people were so much better under Menzies. It would be hilarious if he were not given his position.

  6. CK – The coat Quill is photographed in is pure North American Indian. 😀

He could do stuff here he couldn’t do there.

  7. CTar1, I do hope you mean north american indian manufacture?????

“Who’ll stop the reign of this meddlesome priest?”

    And some Fogerty solo stuff

  8. Have I missed anyone????

    Any more requests??????

As it’s our first day back draw will be at 7pm Qtime to catch any stragglers

  9. “Who’ll stop the rain?”

Grain deliveries in W.A. this year have been breaking records left right and centre. Some very happy farmers this year.

  11. I had not thought of this – I’m looking forward to it now.

I, for one, cannot WAIT for the Corgi Barnyardi float certain to appear at this year's Sydney Mardi Gras…— Van Badham (@vanbadham) January 10, 2014

  12. kaff

Some of the wheat farmers have been having it tough lately, nice for them to have a win once in while. I was based in Merredin some years back so I know how things have been going.

  13. Fiona

Now that’s a drink to rival the pan galactic gargleblaster!

and being iced tea is OK for a teetotaler such as me.
