It’s also time to
… kick up our heels,
… enjoy a few drinks,
… start the jukebox … and party like it’s 1926 …

CK Watt,
Many thanks.
Fiona,
Sincere condolences to you and yours.
I have not heard anyone mention Fridays Lateline which had the weirdest interview I have ever heard. It had Emma laughing in disbelieve. Newman said that he heard that people in the ‘beltway’ (American?) had told him that the only reason that PMJG wants to bring in the Gonski and NDIS is to paint him in a bad light for the coming election. Emma told him that the inquires into Gonski and NDIS was started before he was elected so how could she see that far into the future to use them against him. More waffle!!! Weird.

Ian,
Thank you.
CK Watt,
My every sympathy.
Another good piece from David Donovan at IA

suggesting that the PM and McTiernan may be belling a cat (Murdoch). I think Ian put up a similar idea here some time back.
It leaves a big challenge via the new media, though. I’m using Facebook already; maybe I’ll have to learn Twitter.
